The ICE STUDIOS x ASICS Gel Kayano 14 presents Renell Medrano’s eye-catching colorway of the retro running shoe originally released in 2008. An electric shade of blue suffuses the upper, crafted from airy mesh with tonal synthetic overlays in a glossy finish. The shoe’s monochromatic design is disrupted by yellow branding hits on the lateral heel, featuring ‘GEL KAYANO 14’ on the left shoe and ‘ICE STUDIOS’ on the right.

The Unaffected x Asics Gel-Kayano 14 “Infinite Wonders Pack - Green” is a collaboration by the South Korean clothing brand and Asics that honors the 30th anniversary of the Gel-Kayano series. From a collaborative “Infinite Wonders Pack,” the colorway features a dark green mesh base with glossy black and Bottle Green synthetic overlays. A modified toggle lacing system appears on top of the shoe. Co-branding is found on the lateral side of the heel.

The new Asics Gel-Kayano 14

The ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 Monaco Blue is an updated version of the Gel-Kayano 14 featuring a late 2000s aesthetic with newer technology. This iteration was the first shoe in the line to be designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano. This version of the ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 is made of a Monaco Blue mesh upper with synthetic leather overlays appearing in silver and Slack across the midsole. The toe is also rounded out by a silver overlay.
