Marantz has chosen to leave out all digital circuitry from this amp to simplify use and design, keep out noise, and ensure product longevity. The MODEL 50 offers 70 watts per channel and uses Marantz's current feedback class-A/B topology. There is a full suite of inputs and outputs for your sources, subwoofer, and even an extra power amplifier. Marantz's unique HDAM SA-3 discrete amplifier circuitry outperforms the ICs used in competing amplifiers. It uses toroidal transformers. Plus, hear details in your vinyl records like never before using the moving magnet only Marantz Musical Phono EQ gain stage. Fans of tone controls will appreciate being able to set balance, treble, and bass. The iconic Marantz porthole display is used for setup and to easily see your volume level.
