This is a performance MK8 All Metal Hotend Upgrade. It includes a coated nozzle and coated thermal barrier tube. They are plated with a very low friction plating called TwinClad XT. TwinClad XT is a nickel composite coating designed to be very hard, corrosion resistant, and have good release properties against plastic. It offers one of the lowest coefficient of friction, better than nickel with PTFE co-deposit. The hardness makes this coating abrasion resistant.
