Emperor Zurg is a character in the Toy Story film franchise and is the "enemy" of Buzz Lightyear. And like most Buzz Lightyear toys, he believes the character he was designed to represent, in this case an evil space emperor. Zurg is referenced several times in the first movie, appears as a character in the second and has a brief cameo in the third. He also appeared in the film Lightyear as the main antagonist.
